Sleep Number Climate360 Smart Bed
Ever felt like you couldn’t fall asleep because you were too hot or too cold?
If you have, you’re not alone. 80% of Americans have a hard time sleeping due to temperature. Sleep Number’s next generation of their 360 smart bed, the Climate360 Bed was announced at 2020’s CES. It’s the first mattress that uses temperature technology to create a personalized sleep environment.
Focusing on three main elements, the mattress:
- Gently warms feet
- Keeps you asleep by cooling the entire body
- Balances temperatures based on sleep cycle
Alongside the new bed is their SleepIQ, an app that uses machine learning to provide insights into your sleeping patterns. Over time, it pulls data and analytics, such as heart rate, breathing, circadian rhythms, and more, each designed to improve every night’s rest.
For over five years, we have worked closely to create a graphics package for Sleep Number’s booth at the CES trade show in Las Vegas, as well as their Super Bowl Fan Experience for the past two years. For this project, artists created multiple videos and graphics to be used in the 2020 CES booth. Each year, we work closely with their creative team to produce videos and animation for the debut of their newest products. We work hard to make sure visitors not only find the Sleep Number booth, but stay at it during the trade show.
In addition, this year we created effects for their interactive “ride”, which allowed people to visualize the experience of the features of their newest bed, the Climate360.
Visitors at CES tested the beds to see if they lived up to the hype. They discovered that not only does the bed change temperature, it adjusts firmness, comfort, and support on each side that respond to your movements throughout the night. It even raises the mattress to relieve snoring.
Sleep Number was a CES 2020 Innovation Award Honoree across Health & Wellness and Tech for a Better World, and recieved the Best of Innovation Award. The Climate360 Smart Bed is expected to be released in 2021 and starts at $7,999.
